At Howat Avraam Solicitors, we are pro-active in ensuring that our clients have a solid commercial platform from which to grow their businesses. It is fundamental for businesses to have up-to-date commercial and employment contracts, policies and processes in place to not only ensure an entitlement to payment for its services but also to enable profitable growth in a dispute free environment.
How will it benefit my business?
Disputes, whether with third parties or within a business itself, are understandably damaging to a business and detract management attention from the day-to-day operation of the business. Clear and well-drafted contracts help govern relationships through the good and the bad times. From experience, even the act of discussing a contract’s terms with the other party can shed light on issues which, if not clarified early on in a relationship, could later return to cause disruption within a business, if not worse.
As the law and each of our clients’ businesses develop over time, it is hugely beneficial for each client to stand back at regular intervals to review its contractual documentation and practices to ensure they remain effective, represent best practice and meet the needs of the client’s particular business.
What does a Legal Healthcheck involve?
Firstly, a questionnaire will be emailed to you to complete. Once completed, a Solicitor will contact you by phone, at a convenient time, to discuss your responses to the questionnaire. The purpose of this call will be to obtain an overview of your business and to flag up any issues that arise and which require attention, whether in the short or longer-term.
If required, following the telephone consultation, we can provide you with an overview of our findings, together with a summary of our recommendations. This report will also set out the cost of any recommendations and you are welcome to pick and choose which recommendation, if any, you would like to proceed with. As with all Commercial Reviews, please note that the more detail we receive from you in your questionnaire responses, the more detailed our recommendations and proposals can be and be assured that your responses shall be treated with complete confidentiality.
If you believe your business might benefit from a Legal Healthcheck, please contact us at email@example.com to request a questionnaire and one of our Solicitors will be in contact shortly.
